Saint Patrick’s Day Parade (March 18, 2018)

The temperature was -18 this morning when we were lining up at the St.Patrick day parade. It was so cold, we couldn’t feel our noses! It was all fantastic though! The spectators were cheering us on while we marched down the streets performing lion dance. We were told that we are the first Chinese cultural group from our Chinese community to ever participate in the Saint Patrick’s Day parade. We gave them a spectacular performance. A big thanks to our team members Mackenzie Chan and Jonathan Chan for their great lion dance performance under such a cold day, as well as our awesome drumming by Glen Woo and Wayne Sing on the cymbal. People danced on the street wherever we passed by. We’re already looking forward to next year’s parade. See you then!
