All packages include the long version (complete coverage) of your ceremony and an edited version of the reception (do you really want to see all that dancing?). The average length of this version is usually about 1 to 2 hours depending on the length of your ceremony and reception and the options you select. Depending on the package you select, it will take anywhere from 45-55 hours of editing your wedding into a smooth flowing story. It will take about 8-12 weeks before we finish your video.
A deposit of $600.00 will be required to reserve the date of your wedding. The remaining fees must be paid 2 weeks before the wedding date. Unlike other companies, we do provide a full refund as long as you cancel 90 days before your wedding date. After the 90 days, the $600.00 is non-refundable but could be credited to a future date.
All packages also include opening titles, tastefully done graphics and closing credits at no extra charge.
Regardless of the package that you chose, your wedding will be shot using 3CCD digital video cameras and edited using a Non-Linear Editor (NLE) system. Beware of other videographers who may resort to using non digital camera for their lower end packages. With us, we provide the same care, dedication and approach regardless of which package you chose. We only book a maximum of one wedding per week in order to maintain high standards and to dedicate more time on editing your tape. For example, it may take a day just to get a few seconds or minutes of the final footage (slow-motion, sepia-tone, wide-screen, soft-focus, etc.) just right and synchronized to the music in order to bring out the maximum emotion when you view it. We use basic transitions such as slow dissolves and straight cuts from one shot to the next (just like what you see when watching a movie). We do not use cheesy effects. Other videographers go overboard and try to use all possible transition effects (screen flipping in, flipping out, rotating in, etc.) We use these effects sparingly and where they are most effective. We do not use pre-canned digital effects as most others do. We create all our digital effects ourselves thereby making your video even more unique. Our video look more like “film” than video due to the use of multiple camera coverage and also due to the unique film mode of the Canon XL1 and GL2. Our background is in filming and editing in a documentary style. This is what differentiates us from the others.
We provide full day coverage as early as 6:00 AM (of the bride waking up) right to the end of the day (We have NO LIMITS!!!) to ensure that we capture all those special moments. Sometimes we stay even after when everyone has gone home to capture the last moments as the reception hall gets cleaned up, filmed in a series of time dissolves.
