The original Bonta-kun is a mascot (teddy bear) of an amusement park called Fumo Fumo Land.
He is very peaceful, joly, friendly and innocent... that is, until Sousuke Sagara gets hold of a Bonta-kun costume.

He becomes a Super Hero, saving the damsel in distress (Chidori).
This version of Bonta-kun is a war specialist and is very good with firearms and explosives which he frequently uses against villains. Bonta-kun also specializes in
unarmed combat.
